Miriam Mirri Big Love Ice Cream Spoon
One of the last results of the F.F.F. (Family Follows Fiction) metaproject, an operation in the early 1990s that aimed to explore the affective structure of shapes and objects, starting from the idea of reproducing the object creation process followed by children and primitive cultures. Made of 18/10 stainless steel, the ice cream spoon is one of the first results of this project, which refers to the way of perceiving the world and the process of creating objects, typical of primitive cultures and childlike minds. The Big Love teaspoon belongs to a family of objects designed to evoke memories associated with the world of fairytale characters. The attractive form of everyday objects, encourages meditation through play and creates a bridge to the world of imagination. The Big Love ice cream spoon is also a perfect gift for a loved one, and in combination with a wonderful ice cream dessert served in Alessi ice cream goblets, it will become the embodiment of the well-known truth “Through the stomach to the heart”, although in this case one would rather say “Through the heart to the stomach”:).
